McWane Waterworks Group sponsors ASF scholarship

The McWane Waterworks Group was pleased to sponsor a $17,000 Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF) scholarship at Ohio State University.

The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF) was founded in 1984 by the six surviving Mercury 7 astronauts (Scott Carpenter, Gordon Cooper, John Glenn, Walter Schirra, Alan Shepard and Deke Slayton). The Astronaut Scholarship is known nationwide for being among the largest merit-based monetary scholarships awarded to undergraduate STEM juniors and seniors.

“We’re proud to sponsor this ASF scholarship that is awarded annually to some of the brightest STEM students in the country,” said McWane Ductile Vice President of Sales & Marketing Mike Dodge.

Engineers play a crucial role in the development of our products, and we are pleased to have the opportunity to support students pursuing a degree in engineering.
