After 23 years of distinguished service, Senior Vice President, EHS External Affairs & Special Projects Jeet Radia has announced his retirement, effective June 30.
Since joining McWane in 2003, Radia has devoted more than two decades to raising the standard of excellence in environmental, health and safety across the enterprise. His leadership spanned a transformative era of growth and innovation at McWane, and his commitment to our communities and team members expanded in lockstep. Among his proudest achievements was the Environmental Protection Agency’s recognition of McWane’s unprecedented turnaround in its EHS performance, a milestone that represents his tireless commitment to leadership through consistent improvement.
“Jeet’s professional legacy of excellence has strengthened McWane and the broader industry,” Chairman Phillip McWane said. “The EHS program he built is a lasting testament to his vision and dedication. We are grateful for his many years of service and wish him a well-deserved retirement.”
Radia’s impact extends beyond McWane as his work has garnered industry recognition for his expertise and contributions to the field. In 2024 he was awarded the American Foundry Society (AFS) Thomas W. Pangborn Gold Medal, which recognizes exceptional leaders whose careers have had a profound and beneficial impact on the foundry sector. He continues to be an active member of AFS and chairs the AFS Air Quality Committee. He also previously served on the AFS Board and the Board of the Cahaba River Society.
His legacy is one of dedication to the pursuit of excellence that has shaped McWane’s culture with an eye toward the future.
