It’s Safe + Sound Week and we want to raise the importance of being committed to safe workplace conditions through health and safety programs to work towards a goal of zero injuries.
McWane Ductile-Ohio started the week by launching a proactive heat stress monitoring program, which utilizes the latest technology to monitor a representative sample of employees working in high-heat areas. They provided camelback backpack canteens to employees that work in high-heat areas and to others who requested one. These canteens will assist in keeping employees hydrated during their work shifts.
