At the recent Executive Women International 2025 Leadership Conference and Annual Meeting (LCAM) in Houston, McWane, Inc. was honored among all medium-size member firms nationwide with the Member Firm of the Year Award. EWI Birmingham chapter member and McWane, Inc. Corporate Manager of Trade Compliance Danielle McDowell accepted the award on behalf of the company and was recognized for her service to EWI as Treasurer of the Birmingham chapter. Also representing McWane, Inc. as an EWI Birmingham chapter member is Vice President, Corporate Communications Laura Clark.
The award recognized McWane’s commitment to the mission of EWI to bring together women from diverse businesses for the purpose of enhancing personal and professional development and encouraging community involvement. McWane has been a member firm in good standing of the EWI Birmingham chapter for decades and a long-term supporter not only through generous monetary donations, but also with the company’s support of its own employees active in EWI.
