Kennedy Valve recently sponsored and participated in the 8th annual StacheStrong 5K Run/Walk in Vestal, NY. StacheStrong is an organization devoted to raising funds and awareness for brain cancer research.
This year's StacheStrong 5K event hosted both virtual and in-person races with participation from 70 teams and over 1300 supporters across the globe.
Shoutout to the 16 Kennedy Valve employees who participated in the event. With their support, the organization not only met but surpassed their initial goal, raising $233,000. This money raised allows the organization to fund three research grants across three institutions, including Brigham and Women's, Johns Hopkins and the University of Michigan.
