Brett Johnson named recipient of the 2025 Kenneth O. Hodgson Distinguished Service Award

Clow Valve Territory Manager Brett Johnson was named the recipient of the 2025 Kenneth O. Hodgson Distinguished Service Award at this year's New England Water Works Association (NEWWA) Conference.

The Kenneth O. Hodgson Distinguished Service Award provides recognition for outstanding service to NEWWA and the waterworks profession by a member from the supplier service, manufacturing or contracting area. The award is named after Kenneth O. Hodgson who demonstrated, through his years as a NEWWA member, a dedication, service and commitment that service members should strive to attain.

Brett Johnson was nominated by his New England water works community peers and was selected as the 2025 recipient by a committee of past recipients and NEWWA board members. The award was presented by Committee Chairman Chris Hodgson, who is the son of Kenneth O. Hodgson for whom the award is named.

“The list of “Hodgson” award winners represents the finest group of sales and marketing professionals in the business,” said Hodgson.

Brett Johnson has been a member of NEWWA since 2005. Coming to New England from Iowa, he joined NEWWA as a member of the Young Professional Committee and has grown with the Association since then. He was a member of the Innovations Committee and served as a judge and liaison for McWane with the Hydrant Hysteria Committee. Whenever a volunteer is needed, Johnson does not hesitate to offer help.

Join us in congratulating Johnson on this achievement.
