Amerex celebrates receiving the 2025 McWane Outstanding Safety and Health Performance Award

Amerex was named the recipient of the 2025 McWane Outstanding Safety and Health Performance Award for Fabrication earlier this year, an honor that recognizes one of the top health and safety programs across all McWane facilities. The award reflects the people behind it. Across every department and every shift, Amerex team members have shown what it looks like to make safety part of the daily routine, not just a set of rules on the wall. From speaking up about hazards to looking out for coworkers on the floor, the team has built a culture where safety is truly everyone's responsibility.
Amerex celebrated the award with a fall picnic. In addition to the awards ceremony, where Environmental, Health and Safety Group Director Carlos Robinson presented the award and Vice President, Health and Safety Lea Ann Hjetland spoke to the group, team members enjoyed a cookout and a raffle with a DJ was on hand for karaoke. The picnic gave everyone a chance to reflect on the hard work that made this award possible and to celebrate another outstanding accomplishment for the company.
