Clow Canada sponsors Coldest Night of the Year Walk

On February 23, Clow Canada sponsored and participated in the Coldest Night of the Year Walk to raise awareness and money for Outflow Ministries, a local men's shelter, located in Saint John, New Brunswick.  The walk was also held in 45 other cities across Canada on the same evening.  This year, Clow Canada not only had the largest team in their city but were also told they were the largest team across Canada with 75 registered walkers.  Just over 50% of Clow Canada’s team members participated in the walk with their family and friends.  Colin McDonald from Outflow Ministries said “We walk together, but not only to raise money, it’s about showing a community that we stand with those who are marginalized.”

In total, Clow Canada and their team sponsored and donated about $5,000 to the shelter for this fundraiser.  The shelter raised around $60,000 with just under 400 walkers.  Clow Canada remains committed to being the lead sponsor again next year with a goal of over 100 team participants!
