Rick Clayton is the recipient of this year's 2024 McWane Canada Volunteer Award. Rick has dedicated his time and energy to supporting the homeless community in Saint John. He is on the front lines, making a direct impact by spending every Saturday afternoon providing food, clothing, and other essential items to those in need. Rick goes above and beyond by listening to their stories and struggles, offering words of encouragement and hope.
In addition to his work with the homeless, Rick has been a regular blood donor for 20 years and makes regular contributions of his salary to the local soup kitchen.
We deeply appreciate Rick's continued dedication and efforts. As a token of our gratitude, he received an award in his honour, as well as a $1,000 donation to the charity of his choice.
