Kennedy Valve sponsors first annual Run for Epilepsy

Kennedy Valve sponsored the first annual Run for Epilepsy along the Lackawanna trail.  Participants were invited to either run the four mile course or walk a two mile course, both on the Lackawanna Trail.  Race coordinator Drew Braman was instrumental in making this a successful event.

In 2013, epilepsy resulted in 116,000 deaths and in many areas of the world persons with epilepsy are either severely restricted or not allowed to drive.

The Lackawanna Trail was the perfect location for the event on what turned out to be a beautiful day.  The trail spans Elmira, New York linking famous Eldrige Park with the city’s waterfront.  Check out this article about the event written by Cody Carlson on the WENY News website at:
