Amerex’s hiring program for disabled workers featured in video

Amerex’s partnership with the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services will be featured in a video being produced by the University of Arkansas CURRENTS program through a grant called “Job-Driven Vocational Rehabilitation Technical Assistance Center.” The video focuses on the “win-win” outcomes for both the business and individuals with disabilities entering the labor market or retaining their jobs. Amerex has several team members with hearing disabilities. Other employers being featured in the video are Alabama Power, Regions Bank, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

In the photo, Reba Glidewell, Amerex personnel training manager, is interviewed by a camera crew as part of the video.
